Catching up, pt. 2
A few years ago I bought a Ducati single basket case. It's a '66 350 Sebring narrowcase, pretty complete. It mostly needs a cylinder rebore and new piston, plus of course a hundred tiny little things like bearings, gaskets, seals, cables, etc.
One of the little things was a fork rebuild, which I got around to last week after ordering new tubes from Forking by Frank. Buffed the alloy parts up a little while everything was apart. The wheels have been rebuilt by Chris at Wheelworks in Hayward. Need to get the frame parts painted next so I can have a fresh rolling chassis to work with.

Catching Up with Dad's Garage, part 1
Things have been happening lately at Dad's Garage, exciting things.
The popsicle was returned to California in 2013. It needed some attention after sitting a while, so the carbs were cleaned out, master cylinder and caliper rebuilt, and new brake line by HEL installed. One of the main problems the bike had was the magneto was seized, so I sent it to Doug Wood to be rebuilt. Now it's almost too nice to put back on.
Still to be done: oil tank mounts, tail light lens, and regulator/rectifier. Need to bring it down to the CHP/DMV after the oil tank is installed and get the paperwork squared away.
These are before pics after it arrived in the World's Smallest Workshop.

T120 - Done?
Over the weekend I finished up the wiring for the lights on the '70 Bonneville, and last night I rolled it out and fired it up. It sounds awesome. I need to dial in the carbs, and eventually get some new shocks and passenger pegs, but I think it's finally done. I don't want to think about how long it's taken, let's just say I wasn't rushing it! "We will finish no bikes before their time."
I'll try to get some better pics and some closeups when I take it out for a shakedown run this weekend.

New pics of Norton
Here are some recent pics of the Norton. Things that have changed in the past year are: new alloy wheels/stainless spokes/Avon venom tires, new shocks, good used seat from ebay, K&N filter, rebuilt forks, rebuilt speedo, and tank sealed with the Caswell epoxy kit. I put on some repop muffler heat sheilds after the pics were taken, and got a new battery after I had some problems starting it. Still has a ways to go, but it's getting there.
